MILWAUKEE — Homeowners in the city of Milwaukee will soon be getting the opportunity to buy into a sewer line protection program.

The program will be administered by Service Line Warranties of America (SLWA). It reportedly offers an affordable way to avoid the unexpected and often large expense involved with a sewer line break.

The cost for citizens who choose to purchase the warranty protection can either be $9.50 per month or for a full year at $100 ($8.33 per month), and will cover sewer line repairs up to $6,000 plus an additional allowance of $4,000 for public street cutting, if needed.

SLWA has accreditation with the Better Business Bureau. To learn more about SLWA
