Service Line Warranty Program
20 September 2011

The Town of Mooresville has announced a new program for homeowners provided through a partnership with the National League of Cities (NLC) and Service Line Warranties of America (SLWA). The Service Line Warranty program offers protection to help cover the expense of a water line break. The cost for Town citizens who choose to purchase in the warranty protection is $4.75 per month and will cover water line repairs up to $4,000, plus an additional $500 for public sidewalk cutting if needed. The program is offered at no cost to the Town and no public funds are used to promote the program.

The National League of Cities is the nation’s oldest and largest organization devoted to strengthening and promoting cities as centers of opportunity, leadership and governance. SLWA has been selected by the NLC as an Enterprise Programs Partner and maintains accreditation with the Better Business Bureau.
