Optional Program Available to NS Homeowners with Sewers

The Town of North Smithfield recently introduced a new, optional program available to homeowners with sewers, which provides low cost warranty protection for sewer lines, provided through the National League of Cities (NLC) and administered by Service Line
Warranties of America (SLWA). A mailing, paid for by SLWA, went to many homeowners.

Some may not have sewers therefore this service will not apply to them. This is an optional program. No one is required to participate.

NORTH SMITHFIELD– The Town of North Smithfield recently introduced a new, optional program available to homeowners with sewers, which provides low cost warranty protection for sewer lines, provided through the National League of Cities (NLC) and administered by Service Line Warranties of America (SLWA). A mailing, paid for by SLWA, went to many homeowners. Some may not have sewers therefore this service will not apply to them. This is an optional program. No one is required to participate.
SLWA has a perfect Better Business Bureau Rating and uses local contractors familiar with local permitting and codes. “We are pleased to work with the Town ofNorth Smithfield to offer an affordable Service Line Warranty program,” said Brad Carmichael, Vice President of Business Development. “We believe residents who have sewers will be pleased with our features and benefits, including a 24-hour repair hotline and the use of local, certified technicians.
