Denison residents may soon be receiving an offer for a service line warranty. The warranty would cover cost associated with water-line breakage from the water meter to a home, a section that is traditionally the homeowner’s responsibility, it was announced by city of Denison officials.

City officials stress that there is no obligation for residents to participate and the city is not using tax dollars to fund the program in any way. The program is through the National League of Cities Service Line Warranty Program and administered by Service Line Warranties of America. For more information about the program
